Itinerary Breakdown

The journey begins in one of the capitals of South Africa – Cape Town. This is an incredible city on the end of the African continent. We will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. In the evening we will have a briefing and welcome dinner, where we will get acquainted.

From Cape Town we are moving inland to the North; fruit growing areas, vineyards and breathtaking mountain passes will be waiting for us on the way. Then we will ride along the False Bay, where there will be a magnificent view of the sea and the coast.

We will cross the very picturesque Franschhoek Pass and further north through the city of Wellington and the Bains Kloof Pass, which is a national monument. The final stage will be fruit farms, after which we will spend the night in cozy farmhouses.

Today we have to visit the Cederberg mountain, and we will get to it through the countryside on good gravel roads. There are caves in the mountain, on the walls of which there are rock paintings of bushmen. We will explore the caves or admire the wild landscapes.

We will cross the mountains on an exciting road with many turns and again go out on gravel roads. Then we enter the Great Karoo area – a name familiar to every motorcycle traveler.
Today we will spend the night in one of our favorite places – comfortable authentic stone cottages.

Today will be a significant day – we are entering Namibia. But before that, we will drive through the entire Northern Cape region, then several local canyons formed by ancient glaciers, and enjoy the road along the famous Van Rhyns Pass.

Then we head north through the beautiful semi-desert landscapes of the Northern Cape, and then we cross the border and arrive at our overnight stay, which will be located on the banks of the Orange River.

Today we are going to get acquainted with the incredible Namibia, which gives countless breathtaking landscapes. After yesterday’s trip on asphalt roads, we are returning to good gravel roads.

We ride through kilometers of lush vineyards before going for a walk along the banks of the Orange River – this is one of our favorite sites in all Africa. After the walk, we ride north across the vast plains to the Fish River Canyon, which is the largest canyon in Africa. We will have dinner today at the famous Canyon Roadhouse cafe.

We continue our journey through the country of the eternal blue sky and move along asphalt and smooth gravel roads that lead us to the coastal city of Luderitz.

The whole trip is accompanied by fascinating views, for which you want to stop and just admire them. The last part of today’s trip goes along the coast through the old diamond fields, where we will be able to see the famous wild horses of Namibia.

Today we will get up early to catch the morning light of the sun flooding the ghost town of Kolmanskop, where diamonds were mined. We will take a walk through this charming settlement and take photos of buildings that are slowly covered with drifting sand. The sight is fascinating!

Then we return to the asphalt road and ride further, where even more impressive landscapes are waiting for us. We will also stop for coffee and apple pie in the small town of Helmeringhausen, after which we will continue to the village of Maltahohe and spend the night there in comfortable cottages.

Today we have a trip to Sesriem Canyon, where we will see with our own eyes the famous dunes of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei (Dead Swamp). The photos there are cosmic!

Along the way, we will have the opportunity to make a detour to visit Duwisib Castle, built in the early 1900s by German settlers. On the way to Sesriem, we descend the slope with a beautiful view and drive along gravel roads.

Today is our first day of rest and we will have the opportunity to go for a walk in the morning to see the famous dunes and dried lakes with ancient dead trees in Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. Let’s climb the highest dune in Africa, Big Daddy (the second highest in the world).

Then we have an afternoon to relax in a comfortable cottage with a swimming pool, a bar and an outdoor restaurant and with beautiful views.

Today we continue our journey and ride through the Namib desert to the coastal resort town of Swakopmund. We will stop for a rest to taste the best apple pie in Namibia in the historical settlement of Solitaire. Then we move through the picturesque Kuisib Canyon and the desert.

You will feel the coolness of the air as we approach the coast, and also get an unforgettable experience of driving along the packed salt road in Walvis Bay. We end the day with a short trip along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean in the direction of Swakopmund.

Swakopmund is a picturesque historical coastal town, which is one of the pearls of our tour of Namibia. After yesterday’s long trip, we will have time to enjoy the city and explore it.

One of the best ways to do this is a morning tour of Sandwich Harbor – an exciting, unique place where dunes and the ocean meet. After returning, we will walk around the city and have a delicious meal at a local restaurant.

Today we are exploring the southern part of the famous Skeleton coast. We will ride beside the cold waters of the Atlantic past the shipwreck site before turning east through the desert to the coastal town of Henties Bay.

You will see how the outlines of the legendary rock formations of Spitzkoppe appear, which become more and more impressive as we approach. In the afternoon we will have the opportunity to walk along these beautiful rocks “Pondoks” and watch the sunset through the famous arch.

After breakfast, we leave Spitzkoppe and drive along a combination of gravel and asphalt roads to the Erindi Nature Reserve, where we will see hippos and giraffes.

Here we will stay overnight at the luxurious Old Traders Lodge Hotel, where you can watch wildlife on safari with a guide, visiting the watering place of animals.

After the morning safari in the nature reserve, we will go on a short trip to our final destination – Windhoek. There we will hand over the motorcycles and go to a farewell dinner at the famous Joe’s Beerhouse.
